
The final edition of Champs Arizona in 2026 is down to just two teams vying for glory in the 14U division. Read how it happened below.
TB SoCal 13, San Diego SHOW National 3
The quarterfinals began with a bang as TB SoCal was off to the races early and often in a four-inning, run rule victory over San Diego SHOW National. SoCal scored at least two runs in each inning, including a four-spot in the first and third innings. Of the team's 15 hits, shortstop Briggs Nelson and Biggie Ciero each racked up three hits. Ciero added three RBI to complement his three knocks while helping overpower San Diego SHOW in the first action of the morning.
Saddleback Cowboys 8, GBG National 2030 0
A third-inning outburst led the Saddleback Cowboys to a loud win over GBG National in order to advance into the final four. The six-run third inning was highlighted by a bases-clearing triple off the bat of Cash Johnson. His three-run triple was the fatal blow in the team’s 8-0, run rule win that included an astounding pitching performance from Emmett McCarthy. McCarthy dealt 5.0 innings of shutout baseball, allowing just two hits to four strikeouts to keep GBG National at bay all morning and give the offense all the support it needed.
Scottsdale Dirtbags Gold 11, Next Level Baseball 1
Tournament dominance from Scottsdale Dirtbags Gold continued to roll onwards. The team has scored at least nine runs in each of their six wins, while scoring 10-plus in five of the six games. The one-two punch of Jack Kinsler and Mason de Vries atop the lineup had a performance for the ages, combining to go 6-for-6 with 10 total bases, six runs scored and five RBI – all courtesy of de Vries. His otherworldly performance was punctuated by a towering three-run shot that cleared the scoreboard in deep left center to cement another statement win for Scottsdale.
Canes West 15, Trosky National 7
Nine of 10 batters sent to the dish for Canes West recorded at least one hit in the team's 15-7 win over Trosky National. With the game knotted at 4-4 in the bottom of the fourth, Jordan Shaw stopped up to the plate with two men out and crushed a home run to right center field to give his team a huge shot of momentum. Trosky responded with two runs of their own, but a sixth-inning explosion that saw six runs cross home for Canes West proved to be the difference on their road to the semis. Pitcher Barrett Dow went the distance on the mound, working all six innings to help lift his team into the later stages of Champs Arizona.
Scottsdale Dirtbags Gold 9, Canes West 1
The first spot in the semifinals was claimed by Scottsdale Dirtbags Gold as their ability to run up the score remained the main theme of their dominant tournament run to this point. The Dirtbags plated another nine runs, as pitcher Maddox Bell worked 5.0 innings. Bell allowed just two hits and one earned run while fanning five in a solid outing. Carlo Rivero carried his momentum from the first game into the afternoon as his RBI single served as a defining point in the team’s championship berth.
Saddleback Cowboys 17, TB SoCal 0
An explosive 10 runs in the sixth inning helped Saddleback Cowboys run up their most runs in a game all tournament long. Three runs in the second inning helped gather the initial momentum, and the Cowboys ran off into the sunset the rest of the way once the bats heated up. Bodie Jackson led or shared the lead for every offensive category game-wide, including a three-run homer in the sixth. Peyton Johnson pitched a scoreless 5.0 innings for the Cowboys and threw five strikeouts. Cole Dworzak finished out the final inning and closed off the semifinals with a strikeout to send the Cowboys to the championship.

Champs Arizona 2026 will come to a close on Tuesday morning from Surprise. TB SoCal and Canes West will battle it out in the bronze medal game at 8:00 AM MST on Royals 3 to begin the day. The collision course must-see matchup between Scottsdale Dirtbags Gold and Saddleback Cowboys is slated for a 10:00 AM MST first pitch on the grounds of Surprise Stadium.
