Athlete Safety: MAAPPs
At USA Baseball, the safety and well-being of minor athletes is our highest priority. Guided by federal law and the standards of the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, we have implemented comprehensive Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPPs) designed to create a safe and positive environment for all participants.
These policies establish clear boundaries for adult-athlete interactions, outline mandatory reporting procedures and include strict requirements for education, training, communication and supervision. All adult participants in USA Baseball programs must comply with these policies to ensure the protection of the athletes we serve.
